Second liver function test?

I've been having some strange chest / shoulder blade pain for several months now. 2 clear chest x-rays but still ongoing.

A (fantastic) GP at my surgery finally referred me for full bloods and a ct scan, which is in a few weeks.

I had my bloods a couple of weeks back and a couple of days later was asked to go back for bloods in a month - specifically for another liver function test.

Freaking out a bit now. Has this happened to anyone else? What's going on?

Don't panic. Ask your GP for a quick phone appointment or email to explain why. But the liver is an incredible organ. My liver function is impacted by a medical condition. I take pills for it and I'm fine, 20 years later.
