just trying to get through to out of hours.

what does it look like

i'm not sure if its eczema, allergic reaction or viral related. its like a cross of all three.

she is itchy as hell.

out of hours not answering phone yet. GP surgery already shut.

oh bugger, we are stuck in the 20mins or so of surgery shutting and out of hours opening.

off to dose her with anti histimine.

Try a cool bath or flannel. Tepid not cold should help with the itching.

Take her straight to the out of hours service. I did this with DD2 once as I had planned to take hr to A&E but decided I was over reacting so went to the out of hours clinic at the QE2. They did see hr but said I really should ring first but as you can't get through for a while I would just go now.

have got through to GP now at out of hours, waiting for a call back.

well the doc called and said it was just an alleric reaction and to giuve piriton. i said no, not like a reaction she had had before and i wanted to take her down to be seen.

i did, and as well as an allergic reaction, she has the startings of infection and needed ointment as well.

Hope she is soon feeling better.

Any idea what caused the allergic reaction?
