My young adult DD has an anxiety disorder that causes her to vomit for 24 to 48 hours at a time. She has just finished an "episode" and I have persuaded her to get help. She spoke to a private GP to get a psych referral, but he also said that she should get blood tests done as her vomit was brown at the end. Apparently it always is (?!).
As DD is home from uni and away from her GP they have told her to go to A&E to get bloods done - is that because it's urgent or can it wait until I can get her temporarily registered here (24/48 hours)? She is terrified of going to our big local COVID hit A&E so would rather avoid that (again, her anxiety disorder exaggerates this).
She is absolutely fine now, eating and drinking again normally, no pain etc.
Any advice very gratefully received.
