Small whitish lump top eyelid

Hello, has anyone had any experience of anything similar please?

I've only just noticed it but now I have it is irritating me!

It's half way to the back, and just to the left of centre. It doesn't hurt and the lump seems to be within the skin of the top eyelid itself.

I keep rubbing it although it isn't itchy or anything, I just can feel it is there.

Is it a milia?

I get them and once I know they are there I can't leave the alone.

Sounds like a stye! I get them and they come and go quite quickly

Thecurtainsofdestiny · 02/02/2021 12:56

Chalazion?

FortunesFave · 02/02/2021 12:57

I had one of these and I had to have it removed as it was just annoying. It didn't hurt...they're quite common. You need to see the GP and they refer you. Then it's taken out...you get a big black eye.

Milia. Very common. I had one last year. It went after a month or so. Just came out one day when I was washing my face.

Thank you everyone. I have never heard of any of these things so going to Google them now. Appreciate your help!

Glad to know they seem to be fairly common too.

Not sure I want to disturb my GP about it ATM so may just bathe in hot water and see what happens after a while ... .
