YM son who is almost 5 in jan will be having his tonsils and maybe agnoids out in 2 weeks. He has had a tummy bug for the last 3 weeks so is a bit weak from that.

How can i build him up so he recovers fast after the operation? Any ideas? Obviosuly good diet is good but anything else.

He is having actimel for tummy.

There are all sorts of liquid vitamins for children out there. I have a bottle of Minadex Orange flavoured tonic (unlikely name, I know) at the moment. I have also used Haliborange before. They contain a wider range of vitamins and minerals than just vitamin C and one of their stated uses is to help build up children after illnesses.
