What eases it for you? I have a weighted blanket which helps lessen the horrible sensation, but it's not a magic trick. Does anyone take any supplements or anything that really make a difference?

A very very hot water bottle
Magnesium and iron
Lots of water in the day
A vigorous massage on my calves

Co codamol (over the counter strength) settles mine down. I guess it's not recommended but if restless legs keep me awake I resort to it and it always works.

Those who take magnesium - how much do you take, and how did you settle on a dose? Does it simply help or does it take it away?
