Can babies have MMR jab if they have a cold?

My DS is due his MMR jab on Thursday but doesn't seem well at the minute - sneezing/coughing/slightly raised temperature. Some of it might be connected to teething but think he's just a bit under the weather generally. Should I still take him for his jab or do I need to wait until he's perfectly well again?

I asked this question a few weeks ago. The response ws definitely to wait until child is well.

Thankyou, you've just reminded me I need to re-book dd2's!

Thanks. I phoned the doctor and she said it should be fine if he just has a cold, but he shouldn't have it if he still has a temperature.
