No period but negative pregnancy test - advice please?

Hi all, would love some advice on this please as its driving me nuts. My period was due a week ago and I'm normally bang on the day or at least the next morning but this time there is no period. I've done a few tests and they have all been negative. My boobs have changed i.e the outer nipples are huge and the nipple bit is very sensative. I'm having dizzy spells too so it points towards pregnancy but without the positive test result. Has has anyone else experienced this or have any advice please.

Forgot to say that i've also hads some lower back ache and some mild cramps.

I didn't get a BFP till I was 2 weeks late with both of mine. I would say give it a few more days and try again.

When I was pregnant with DD I was doing tests from the first day after I missed my period until I was 11 weeks gone before they finally came up positive, the FPC actually told me to go to my doctors and get a scan booked incase I had an ovarian cyst.
However, many things can make your periods late, no matter how regular you are so I dont know tbh.
About the back aches and cramps, are they the same as you normally have when about to come on?

No - not like when i'm due on - milder and feels like stretching - very odd. What is confusing me that when i was pregnant with dd the test showed positive quite early. Maybe i just want to be pregnant so much that i'm imagining all these things???? argh!!!!

I think it can be different with every one, with dd as I said, I was 11weeks, with DS I was about two days late and this time (am 17wks now) I was convinced I wasnt pregnant, because of back aches, which I thought was period pains I told DP not to get the tests he was going to get, then did a few days later and it was positive, I think I was 4 days late this time.

I'd do what sockmonkey did and wait a few days then try again.

I suggest you try getting a hobby - it might take your mind off your woes!!!
