Plethora of bleeding issues and now I'm scared

In 2017 I started bleeding after sex. Was diagnosed with an ectropion and CIN2. Both were treated and the issue resolved.

In 2018 I had 6 months were I would bleed every 2 weeks. The GP put it down to my contraceptive implant that I had fitted the year before. I also saw a gynaecologist who had a look and I had an ultrasound. She was unconcerned and after 6 months the issue resolved.

Now I have a constant stop\start period that's always light and goes from red blood to brown and back to red. I've had it since December. My GP is again unconcerned and is blaming it again in the contraceptive implant.

Could all these issues be related? I seem to have got it into my head that it could be cancer and if so I've had it for years with no one taking things seriously.

If it was cancer would the bleeding resolve on it's own for months before coming back in a different way or is that unlikely ?

I had that on the injection so it's highly possible

If it was cancer no it wouldn’t. Cancer doesn’t stop and start. It starts and gets worse.

As for the implant I had a horrendous time with that. The first year was fine, no period or any side effects. After that first year I had horrendous bleeding to the point I fainted on a few occasions, terrible cramping on and off for months until I decided to have it taken out. I went back on the pill and no issues. I also gained 3 stone in weight which dropped off me when I had it taken out. I would never ever have it again
