Headache behind eye

Just looking for insight here!

Woke with a headache behind my right eye, feeling dizzy and getting waves of nausea. Not pregnant! (Just finished period) Headache isn’t awful but the nausea is problematic and definitely headache-connected.

Looking after DS (1yr) while DH works and I’m sitting here with a sick bucket just in case, feeling quite blurgh. I’ve taken paracetamol.

Any ideas what it is and whether I can do anything other than sitting still and hoping DS doesn’t want me to do much other than roll the occasional car off my knees? Grin

It sounds like a migraine to me. Migraleve from the pharmacy might help.

Migraine or sinus

Definitely migraine. Sounds just like how mine start

Someone on another thread was complained of a migraine and headache and she just tested positive for Covid.

Could be a menstrual migraine ?

See, I’ve had migraines before and they’ve always been much more intense, first off, and usually preceded by a visual aura. Haven’t had the headache part since my teens, though I have had scintillating scotoma without headache a fair amount over recent years.

Can it be a migraine if it isn’t so blindingly painful you can’t get up? The dizziness and nausea were quite migraine like but the headache was just annoying at most.

Symptoms have gone now but I’m still a bit dizzy/vertigo and headache is a bit stabby.
