Sharp achey pain after wiping...

And no, I'm not wiping too hard. It's happened twice now this evening and the second time I dabbed extra carefully just in case. The pain is only after I have finished peeing and wiping, located between urethra and vagina and is, as stated, both sharp and deeply achey. Haven't had sex in the last couple of days. Haven't drunk loads of water today compared to normal, but fairly well hydrated anyway. Pain reduces after a couple of minutes and has left me with a ghostly ache, about 30 minutes on.

Never had a UTI, is this how they feel? Googling wasn't helpful. They only seemed to discuss pain during urination...

Do you have any other symptoms, does it feel like an electric shock? Do you have any period related issues, heavy, painful?

TiddyTid · 22/01/2021 22:31

Do you have a fever or backache?

greatist.com/health/lightning-crotch

Sorry I couldn't find a more medical article, I have what's called lightning crotch, I have endometriosis, and suspected IC mone happens maybe once a month for a few days.

Could you be pregnant?

So I upped my magnesium, I take supplements and do hip and pelvic stretches, for my other symptoms but this has greatly reduced the lighting bolt pain.

If you rest up, maybe avoid sec for a while, drink lots, take a look at your diet and if it's happening non stop go to see a GP.

I know the pain well and it lingers, it then gets you into a cycle of expecting the pain when you wee or move etc.

Quick update. I drank lots of water, wipe list trousers and the situating resolved itself over the next day. Think it may have been an external factor (clothes running? ) that triggered the discomfort. Thank you for the support and advice. I'm a bit of a worrier anyway and rather run down at the moment so I panicked.

So I kept drinking lots of water, wow lost clothing and the situation resolved itself over the next day. Think jeans may have rubbed and triggered the issue.

Thank you for advice and support. I'm a worrier about health stuff and rather run down at the moment so I panicked a bit.
