I'm so bloody hot!

I am absolutely boiling, especially at night! I don't have a temperature (36° last time I checked) but I am so hot all the time it's not even funny. I'm 31 so it's far too early for hot flashes, and it's pretty constant anyway. Family complain of being cold and I'm like... let me outdoors please...

I'm on sertraline, which is apparently supposed to help hot flashes, I'm not overweight, in fact I find it hard to put on weight. Not underweight though. My baby is 8 months old, so any postpartum sweats should have gone months ago, and my period is very irregular (Baby born thanks to clomid) but is starting to make a tentative return after breastfeeding for 5 months (possibly due on the 25th). I don't want to bother the doctor with this especially at the moment, but it's affecting my sleep! Between that and headaches from the tablets I'm shattered!

Could it be a side effect of the sertraline? I took medication a couple of years ago that didn't so much make me hot but I used to sweat excessively at the slightest increase in temperature. I got tested for peri-menopause and all sorts but it stopped once I came off the tablets.

Do the family turn the heating high if they complain of being cold?
Only asking as my DH is always complaining of the cold & when I check he’s turned the thermostat up to above 20, I grew up in a big old, draughty farmhouse high on the hills & am used to being cold so can’t stand it that hot. Even the dogs go outside to lie on the cold flagstones, feel like joining them!
