I know I need to go to the GP but they aren't seeing patients at the moment and my local hospital is rife with covid so I'm not going to go there (in case gp refers because they aren't seeing patients)

Anyway I've had this for ages (well the two on the far right anyway as those are the ones I could see in the mirror)
I put my hair up today (rare for me) and DH notices my neck.
I didn't realise it was all the way around and that there was so many of them.

Anyway, I'll send the GP a pic on Monday but until then I'm wondering if MN has any ideas?

They aren't raised or itchy or flaky in any way, smooth skin to the touch (which is how they've gone unnoticed)
I've no idea how long they've been there either, the sneaky little buggers.

Thanks for any guesses.

Looks like ringworm but you say its not itchy and I think ringworm normally irritates.

Could be a form of something like pityriasis. I have it and it's not itchy or contagious, but in my case is triggered by the sun. If I don't treat it I get a lovely tan with white patches all over like I'm peeling!
Definitely contact the dr. They are doing lots of online consultations or asking for emails of pics etc.

Looks like allergy to me.
Do you wear necklaces or anything around your neck that you might be allergic to ?
What about stuff you use on your hair, maybe dyes ?
Have you tried antihistamine cream on it, or taking tablets to see if it goes ?

Ring worm or eczema

MargeryMcLatchie · 16/01/2021 13:59

Very much like ringworm which can be completely benign and not itchy at all

Do you have any other symptoms? Could be sarcoidosis of the skin
