My teeth

I've just recently had a baby. I haven't been able to go to the dentist due to lockdown and a check-up wasn't necessary to be seen to apparently. I've just notice that one of my bottom front teeth is actually rotting and a bit has broken away.

I feel so embarrassed about it even though I only know! I'm really hoping the dentist will see me about it but I'm just so nervous and so embarrassed I feel like crying.

Don't be embarrassed, it must be common at the moment as less people are seeing a dentist. If it makes you feel better I rang to see my dentist and found out I've been unregistered as I haven't been in 4 years! I'm lucky as my teeth are healthy but it is luck (or rather genetics), not just how good you are at brushing. Plus having a baby makes you're teeth weaker (though I can't remember why). Hope it's sorted quickly and painlessly for you 🤞🏻

@rainbowhamster I've read that it makes your teeth weaker too, I just didn't realise it would make mine rot! Next time I'm pregnant I'll be going to the dentist every other week I think 😂 I don't think I'm even registered either so I'll have to do that at the same time. I just hope the rest of my teeth are okay and it's just the one that needs to be sorted. I'm not in any pain at the moment so I'm hoping it stays that way until I get seen.
