Too nauseous to sleep

Mylittlesandwich · 15/01/2021 10:27

Someone help me, I've been up all night feeling rotten and I really need to sleep. I feel so sick and my stomach is really bloated. I also have back pain but that is common for me. Is there anything I can do to ease this? I need sleep so much.

You poor thing. Nausea is a grim feeling.
Do you have anything to that could help both the nausea like a herbal bedtime tea?

Do you know what's causing it?

HoofWankingSpangleCunt · 15/01/2021 10:34

Jeez, I can't type properly. I meant do you have anything in which can help both the nausea and the sleeping.

Can you distract yourself with a suitably restful podcast or audio book when lying in bed. When I get dick like this I try to lie very still in bed listening to books that can take my mind off the sickness. It doesn't always help but it might be worth a try ? Have you actually been able to vomit? Sometimes that can help too .

HoofWankingSpangleCunt · 15/01/2021 10:35

Omg, I do not get dick when lying in bed. I get SICK.
There's been no dick near me for four and s half years and I'm perfectly happy with that! Lord what a typo Grin

DustyVenetian · 15/01/2021 10:55

I'd be trying my best to actually vomit in this situation. Usually makes a difference in how you feel pretty. I can't usually force the issue but when I'm ill it's very easy to spark the gag reflex

Getting dick typo has made my morning 😂

If I feel sick I find eating/drinking something sweet helps me. A bit of chocolate or sips of strong squash/pop.

Mylittlesandwich · 15/01/2021 11:00

I've been sick twice which did help briefly but not for long. I've got chills too which is great fun.

I wouldn’t want dick while I was feeling sick either.

Can you manage something like a dry cracker or plain biscuit? Just tiny nibbles, sometimes this really helps settle the stomach.

Otherwise try ginger, peppermint or green tea. If you don't have any boiled water can help too.

You can also try pestobismal - ask at the chemist. Obviously check its suitable for you, a couple of doses might help.

DustyVenetian · 15/01/2021 11:07

Ah I'm sorry. Sounds rubbish.

I've felt like this with minor food poisoning

Mylittlesandwich · 15/01/2021 11:09

Thanks everyone DH has brought me some of the biscuits that were intended for cheese so I'll try and nibble one of those. I've been sipping cold water. I'm not a hot drink person so we don't have any fancy tea but I'll try hot water.

Flat full fat coke is great for nausea, it's the worst feeling. Hope it passes soon.

Mylittlesandwich · 15/01/2021 13:16

I've managed a couple of hours and feel much.l better for it so all your tips must have helped. DH also brought me a hot water bottle which was lovely.
