Hi , I’ve currently got a painful shoulder which I need to speak to the Dr about , however I had my routine mammogram last week which was very painful on the side of my bad shoulder since then I’ve been experiencing a sharp stabbing pain in that breast which I didn’t have before
I appreciate that I need to speak to my Dr but has anyone had pain in the breast after a mammogram it’s not a constant pain it’s sharp stabbing

Yes. It's the squishing. Felt quite sore for a while. I've had four operations on my nork and three years later still get shooting pains randomly every now and again. It is worse if I've been lifting stuff.

Thankyou for your reply & reassurance it’s still sore but the stabbing pain isn’t as bad as it was a few days ago , I had a mammogram three years and I never had pain afterwards maybe it’s because of my bad shoulder I’ve strained it during the mammogram

Yes I had a frozen shoulder for one of mine. Woman was most pissed off that I couldn't raise my arm.

Sounds like you had the same woman she was getting really agitated with me , I told her that I had a painful shoulder but it went on deaf ears
It was agonising the split second it took for the X-ray felt longer .

Oh yes. But nothing is as bad as biopsy under mammogram. Horrendous

Hello; I’m just after some reassurance I suppose really. I have a 10 month old & for the last 5 months, I’ve had sharp shooting pain in my right breast. I paid for a private scan which turned out to be a fibroneoma & was also referred by my doctor for the 2WW. Myself & doctor cannot feel any lumps or bumps so I was quite shocked I had a fibroneoma & very worried. I have an appointment Monday coming for a biopsy to confirm but the last few weeks I’ve had an achy shoulder, achy collarbone, sharp pain down my arm. I’m really worried as my nan (mums mum) passed away from bc and my mum has had a call back from her mamagram & had to have a biopsy & is awaiting her results. I am hoping the fibroneoma is causing these pains but when I google, it says it doesn’t usually cause any pains & are painless. :( xx
