Big toe numbness

My big toe has been numb now for 4 days 🙈 don't really want to bother a doctor with it in the middle of a pandemic if it's not serious! It looks fine in colour, haven't worn shoes for about 3 weeks so it can't be any shoes I've worn, Im starting to get a bit worried now that it hasn't come back. Anyone else ever had anything similar??

Yes. I have some permanent numbness in both big toes due to back injuries from a car accident. I'm not a doc but my guess is something in your back has swelled and is pressing on a nerve. It may or may not be serious. Can you call a doc and describe the problem? I'm in the US and we're using telehealth for this kind of thing during covid.

I have numbness in my middle toes on my right foot when my vitamin B12 is low or my thyroid meds aren’t working well for whatever reason.

I also have a droopy right eye due to nerve damage in my neck, so I wonder if it might be related.
