V important tho, do not give with any paracetamol based meds, eg calpol.
Not trying to be a know-it-all, I didn't realise that until this week when I bought my second bottle and I got rather a shock when the chemist told me. Its great stuff and is v good for drying up colds when littlies are asleep

Or, also, don't give it with Piriton, eg for Chicken pox. It already has an anti histamine in it, and the combination of the two leads to very very strange dreams for small people!

i didn't know medised was a sedative as well. Thought you may have meant fenergen (or something like that anyway)

It almost makes up for the kids having a cold, knowing that you can give them medised and guarantee a full nights sleep without little creepers into your bed in the middle of the night!
