Pain when swallowing

The last couple months this has started to happen more frequently & not sure if it's a worry or not.

When I eat (& sometimes when I drink) I find it difficult to swallow without it being really uncomfortable & often have pain/discomfort afterwards. I used to get this if I ate too quickly, but now it's almost every time.

Anyone else had this?

I haven't had this but didn't want to read and run!

Personally I would go to the doctor and ask someone to have a look to make sure there's nothing wrong. It could be nothing (in which case it would be a relief to be told not to worry!), but most serious things are better caught early rather than late, if you see what I mean, so you have nothing to lose.

Hope you feel better soon.
