CFS/Fibromyalgia & the Flu vaccne (not covid)

So way back when in 95 when I was first diagnosed with CFS I was advised not to have vaccines - I cant remember why tbh

I haven't seen a consultant about it since about 2010 (maybe?) when the FM was diagnosed & vaccines didn't come up

So today (for the first time) I have been offered a flu jab by letter - previously, it had been discussed face-to-face occasionally and decided against

So does anyone know current guidelines?

I don't know about guidelines but DP had CFS and always has the flu vaccine (also bumping for you in the hope that someone with more knowledge will come along).

Another don't know guidelines but I have fibro and had it with no Ill effects. I'd recommend it personally just so you don't end up with the double whammy.

Is it not too late

I have fibromyalgia and received the flu jab in December. Day.2 & 3 had discomfort in the area where I had the jab. Took paracetamol as advised.

Grateful I was able to have it.

Well our household is shielding so it isn't necessarily urgent but I only got the letter todY so it maybe too late

Surgeries do flu jabs until March so it’s not too late.
I have CFS & Fibromyalgia, some years I am fine, this year I felt a bit tired and had a couple of days of headaches but nothing else.
