Is anyone suffering from the d&v virus at the minute

Iv been poorly this last week with a bad cold which both my dc have got too, yesterday morning my ds was sick and also had a bit of diorreah but then seemed ok. a I woke up at 4 this morning feeling really hot and sick went back to sleep had a cup of coffee when I got up no food and now I have the most painfull stomach cramps not constant just every now and then have been to the loo 3 times but still fairly solid any ideas?

I had it a few weeks ago. Hope you get over it soon. Its horrid when one bug merges into the next.

Suprised you haven't had more replies. Most people I know have had it (Gloucestershire). Exactly as you describe including cramps.

Worse for the little one's but still pretty bad for us olds.

I kept DS (29m) off milk for day or too and gave him water and rich tea biscuits. Not sure why but it seemed to work!
He really was quite bad but has bounced back.

Important to stay away from others for 48 hours after last 'episode' as it is really contageous.

Just the v bit here - both kids one after the other. Thoughtful of them to have during half-term though
