What can be seen on CT scan

Have been referred for a CT scan of kidney, ureter & bladder following 3 months of low right sided back pain.
Ultrasound was normal, urine is normal, kidney function is normal.
My question is, would anything at the bottom of my back/spine be picked up on this type of CT?
After this if clear it's a referral to muscoskeletal- which GP was reluctant to do as the pain doesn't hurt with movement (actually forget about it during exercise) and is worse when resting especially going to bed.
I'm at a loss and I'm just so fed up that it isn't going away!
Concerned it's an issue with the spine maybe that could be missed on this type of CT if anyone can shed some light.
Thanks

CT scan sounds a reasonable place to start. They will be able tell whether you have any kidney stones and look at the organs in your abdomen and pelvis. They will get some information about the bones in your spine, but MRI scans are better for looking for prolapsed discs etc.
