Deviated septum or something else?

Anyone have any experience of this or these symptoms?

I've been drooling excessively (just when asleep) which is causing cracks in corners of my mouth. And also sometimes I get pain in my face (generally face, head, throat and jaw) and never really connected the two.

Google says that these can be symptoms of a deviated septum. I'll also add that I have two autoimmune diseases.

Thanks.

I had a deviated septum but did not have symptoms like yours. Mine was mostly congestion and frequent sinus infections. Disappeared after surgery but left me with a nerve issue!

I have one, I can’t really breathe out of one of my nostrils, my sinus on that side is very painful when I have a cold, I also sneeze differently. Mine is a rugby injury, luckily my nose is still straight and there isn’t a visible bump.

If you’re drool is causing sore skin could you put a generous amount of vaseline on your mouth?

If you’re worried seek advice from a medical professional.

Oh dear, I'm sorry. Was the nerve issue due to the surgery?

Thanks for the reply.

Yes, good point - I need vaseline! Thank you.
