Fed up of bleeding *bit graphic*

Hi.

I was on cerazette for short of 3 months, had planned on stopping it at the start of 2021 to TTC.

I started bleeding a week ago... decided to stop taking it on Christmas Eve in hopes the bleeding would ease up & I could actually stand straight on Christmas Day [I have endometriosis & get horrendous back pain when I get my period].

I’m still bleeding with big clots to the point I did a PT to rule out miscarriage. I have no painkillers other than naproxen & paracetamol which are doing a grand total of diddly squat.

Does anyone know of any way to make it ease up quicker? So far it shows no signs of stopping. I have the most awful of mood swings & generally feel shit.

I would make a GP appointment to discuss but in the interim, im pretty sure you can buy a medication called Tranexamic Acid over the counter in the UK (im overseas hence not being 100% sure). This reduces bleeding. Hope this helps.

Just to add, if you are filling a pad an hour or continuing to pass clots, I would be strongly considering a trip to A&E.
