what illness is doing the rounds in kids?

my toddler has been grotty for a week now:
runny nose, grizzly, nappy rash, spots on legs, blister on tongue, clingy and moody, not sleeping well.
now, he has got a tooth (or possibly 4 coming through) AND he has coincidentally decided to give up breastfeeding so has moved to formula. he also suffers mild excema on his legs anyway. so this could all explain the symptoms but he's been like this for a week.
just wondering if there is something doing the rounds...and how long it generally takes to clear up!

sounds like hand footy and mouth with the blisters in the mouth. I think it takes around 10 days to clear - so you should be past the worst.

Some sort of diarohea/vomitting for around 24 hours!! Has passed from one to the other in our house weekly!

it is hand foot and mouth. and a new tooth to go with it.
he seems a bit better today, thank god, spottier but less miserable.
