and I'm here thinking alsots, isn't it horrible being a mum sometimes, and being expected to have a cure, or some way to make things instantly better.

Try a warm cloth.

When my dd has a sore tummy I rub it for her with a warm cloth

Works wonders

I do know that apendix pain can be behind the belly button at first, accompanied by an upset stomach,it then moves to the side. It probably isn't as she would be unwell more in herself high temp, feeling sick etc,but it is just something to keep an eye on.....saying that my dd had those sorts of pains and it was to do with wind and a bit of constipation.

pirategirl · 23/10/2007 21:23

hi everyone, apparently its 'very better'!!

I made dd sit on the loo for about 10 mins and i read her a story, to distract her, and hey presto!!

One small poo!!! a very hard one (she says )!!

constipation then.

ahem, I'll get me coat
