Unusual bleeding?

Hi all

I will be going to get this checked but wondered if anyone had an ideas what this could be..

For my last two cycles I've had very slight bleeding - mainly what looks like older blood but occasionally fresh. More noticeable in the first two weeks post period.

It's very mild - I wouldn't know unless I wiped (sorry TMI), no pain etc. Cycle very regular and has been for years

I'm 40 and I am overdue a smear. I had one back in Jan which came back as inconclusive- not enough to look at apparently. Haven't managed to get another booked in during the pandemic so with crack on with that.

Obviously I'm concerned it could be something sinister, but could also be something else?

Any ideas what else ?

Hey, not really got a clue but didn't wanna read and run. Definitely get your smear booked asap! Hopefully, it's nothing but really get that booked asap. Could it be the start of the menopause? I'd book an appointment with your doc just to ask xx

Ring the gp, they need to have a look up there. Might be something like a polyp.

Great thanks both, I'll give the doc a ring on monday. It's very intermittent so hopefully it's nothing too bad
