I am looking for peoples story's of Colloide Nodules on a thyroid.

I suffer terribly with health anxiety and worry about any little thing regarding my health .

I have had 2 scans to be told that I have non cancerous Colloide Nodules, no follow up scans or to see anyone just told it's nothing to worry about and to get back in touch if it gets bigger as with these types of nodules they can get bigger over time .

Anyone else have these, do they get bigger do you get any symptoms of things from having them?

I have been fixating on mine and keep feeling like i have this "pardon the pun" lump in my throat and constantly thinking it's getting bigger but my friends and family tell me it looks no different .

Just to hear if anyone else suffers with this and their story? As feel like I'm the only person who has this ?

I’ve had a couple and just assumed they were part and parcel of my Hashimotos disease.

I have an ultrasound on them every 6 months or so to see what they are doing but my endocrinologist has never shown any concern or major interest in them and in fact at the last check up, they had actually shrunk slightly.

That's great news that yours have shrunk .

They won't do anything with mine and no checkup . Reassuring they are benign but always worry that they will get bigger and cause issues .
