Hi. I'm waiting for a hysterectomy but in the meantime had a coil fitted to hopefully stop it progressing until surgery. I've never had period pain like it before. Bottom of my stomach is very tender and am taking painkillers and hot water bottles to try and ease it.
Is this normal? I know it can take a while to settle down, but it is driving me nuts
