My DH has had a sore eye for a week. He had a phone conversation with the GP who said it was conjunctivitis and use eye drops.
It’s now in both eyes but this original one is very sore. It looks like a ‘style’ to me? He’s been putting the drops In Since Thursday.
Any advice

Yes, that’s a stye.
Follow the advice here
www.nhs.uk/conditions/stye/ but gentle massage after the hot compress will help it to discharge.
Recurrent styes are often due to a condition called blepharitis. A visit to your optician will help you identify if that’s the case and the type of blepharitis. Treatment is fairly straightforward over the counter.
