Pleurisy pain

I had pleurisy about 5 years ago. I recovered after quite a few weeks but have always had tweaks from what I think is scar tissue. Over the last month it's been much more frequent and painful that usual. Has anyone else had that? Anything that helps?

I have lung disease which causes general chest pains. I have no pleural space on my right lung as it collapsed and surgery involved a sterile talc to irritate the outer lung and scar it against the chest wall...not really relevant but I do find chest pain is worse when tired, run down, dehydrated. What helps is all the boring stuff- good sleep, walking/fresh air, water (so important), vitamin D/C are both good for respiratory conditions, hot soak in the bath. I did do some yoga which helped a lot with scar tissue and releasing.

Also I should add any kind of heartburn causes chest pain for me. I find either taking digestive enzymes or an antihistamine helps.

Thanks @User258544 - that sounds very painful. I think you're right and it's probably the lack of usual exercise in lockdown. I find swimming helps and I've only done that once since we opened up again. Hopefully that will help. Must remember to drink more water as well
