I had surgery on Friday. Day case, but still invasive and painful. Feel like I’ve been punched from the inside.

I can’t really do much. I hurt a lot. The house is a tip, no one seems to give a shit. Dd 14 is surly and horrible. Dh wanted to talk about how he felt pressurised by me being ill last night. I felt like I’d been run over by a bus and walked out. Haven’t slept.

I hate them both.

You are not!! Rest and ignore them, once you feel better have a word with them both. At 14 your DC can help out and your DH certainly can too! Sending hugs

Surgery can take a while to get over. Take care of yourself. Ignore the teenager, they can’t help it being 14. But your DH being a dick is another matter - maybe put it aside for now and deal with it when you’ve recovered.

I'm assuming be pressurised he means he doesn't want to do the housework/ parenting that you usually do? I really don't blame you for walking out.
