do I squeeze it or leave it? or put something on it....?

am now thinking I havne't been very thorough in washing her face - usually just use flannel and warm water, not soap...should I start being more thorough?

My stepsons get blackheads.

Yes, try using a very mild soap like Dove, with a flannel and warm water. And you can use a mild moisturiser afterwards too.

This happened with DD and I bought her some Clean n Clear to use which worked a treat, plus she feels very grown up! I personally don't like soap on my face and I was worried she wasn't washing properly. She is 7 by the way......

I did squeeze them though first, very gently of course, and she hasn't had any more since using the lotion (about 6 mths).

thanks for the advice - so is it not washing properly rather than some hormone surge?

I think some children are just prone to them

people with naturally oily skin get fewer wrinkles in later life
