Hi,
I had my copper coil removed on 20/11/20 which is also the day that my period finished. Since then, I’ve had very heavy and swollen boobs and also I’m very ‘water retentiony’.

Reason for removal was to see if I could get pregnant (I’m 41) with what would be my third and my husband’s first child. My kids are 17 and 14.
I wouldn’t expect to have got pregnant so fast (2 weeks since removal) but these bloating/tenderness signs are making me wonder.
I guess before i go out and get a pregnancy test (seems very early) has anyone else had this hormone fluctuation after a copper coil removal? I’m confused as it’s not the Mirena which I do know contains hormones ❤️

Hi OP, the copper coil doesn't contain any hormones so technically you could become pregnant as soon as the coil is removed.
You should really take a pregnancy test

I should and I will I was just wondering. ❤️ It was like my heavy sore boobs never went away after my period finished
