Whilst doing my make up this morning . I noticed a small part of my eye ball has got a light yellow look to it .
I’ve never noticed this before . It’s not causing any problems .
I just wondered if this was normal ? It’s never light ... I do have it on both eyes though . ( small area )

Cholesterol levels?

QuentinWinters · 30/11/2020 12:23

Have you ever had a liver function test? I get this and I have Gilbert syndrome- nothing scary and very common,but means your body doesn't clear broken down red blood cells as quickly so sometimes look q bit jaundiced.

@QuentinWinters
No I don’t think I have actually ? That may be something I could ask for at the doctors ?
I’ve had a Cholesterol test about a year ago and it was normal . Humm .. this is quite common you said?

I think its like 5 or 6,% of people have it. Its a genetic thing

Torvean32 · 30/11/2020 18:22

It certainly doesn't look like jaundice.

Go to an opticians would be my advice.
