Roaccutane and pregnancy tests

Just wondering how other health boards are managing this? So, quite understandably, all dermatology appts for my teen dd are now online via video link. When we were seen in clinic we'd bring in a urine sample that they'd test there and then for pregnancy. Because we're not coming in to clinic they now want to do monthly blood tests to check for pregnancy. The problem is, despite now having had around 5 of them, my dd is terrified of them and passes out every time.

We discussed this with one of the nurses who was happy for us to do a urine sample at home. However we've had a different nurse today who doesn't agree and wants to go back to blood tests.

How is this being managed elsewhere? Thanks

When my dd was on roaccutane they wouldn’t let you bring the urine with you you had to do the sample in the clinic to hand in , presumably to stop people bringing in someone else’s pee . They also did monthly bloods to check lipids so surely they could do the blood for the pregnancy test at the same time . Do they not check lipids anymore ?

I was about to start accutane earlier this year and decided not too. But my first appointments all I had to show was a negative pregnancy test. Could that be an option?
