Does this sound like a gallbladder problem?

About 3 or 4 times a year, after I've eaten something high in fat, I get an unbelievable amount of upper stomach pain, starts on the right side and ends up all across my back.
Lasts about an hour. Nothing on ultrasound a year ago. Terrible attack a few nights ago after pizza. I'm being sent for another ultrasound in January, hoping something shows.
I follow a really low fat diet in fear of another attack.
Does this sound like stones or another GB issue?

Yes this does sound like gallstones to me. I’m sure I’ve seen before it can be more like sludge that doesn’t show on the ultrasound scan.

Oh gosh yes this is how mine started then I left it and it got really bad before I had it removed

Yep, sounds like mine. Awaiting surgery.

Yep I had 2 hideous attacks after pizza with those exact symptoms. Gallbladder since removed and Thank god!! It’s awful, hope you get sorted soon
