Numb top lip

Woke up on Monday morning past with a numb top lip, and talking with a lisp. Still numb today, feels like I've had an injection at the dentist and my lip is frozen from it.

I can't get to the dentist or doctor for ages. Anyone had this?

If it were me I would go to A&E because if something is that bad it affects your speech then it needs to be investigated.
Are you on any Meds? Was there any incident recently that might have caused it like a bang on the face? Can you see swelling anywhere?
Are you having difficulty eating or drinking?

Thankyou for the reply. No, no incident. Not as numb today but still talking with a lisp. Teeth were hurting to eat with in the area.

It feels tingly, like pins and needles. Sitting here pinching it to keep it feeling normal.
