Did anyone not give the mmr at a year and then went on to have pre school booster?

ds had mmr at 2yrs ,he isn't having the booster. He is 5 now.

kind of reverse of what you are thinking of but same idea, one jab at an older age.

Ds has loads of allergies so was wary of mmr,he reacted badly to it so haven't given him booster.

hmmm, not sure if this will be helpful, Harman but my dd had single measles at 2.5 and had a booster 3 weeks ago (as was taking ds - 3 - for his first measles jab, thought would give her the booster as there are a few measles cases about).

She still had a mild-ish reaction to it - cough a week later, under weather etc.

why don'tyou go for separate vaxes? that's what we did with both. DD1 jst recently had her measles booster ( private clinic obviously)as she is nearly 6.

yes, forgot to add - dd is nearly 5 and a half

DD2 didn't have MMR as it was at the height of the debate and I was worried about the link with bowel disease (I'm a sufferer). So she had just a measles vaccine at 14 months. Then she had the MMR when she was 6.
