Worried about husbands headaches

a few years ago my husband started suffering with headaches around spring time , but he got his eyes tested, got glasses and they got better but he still suffered with the occasional headache

the last few weeks he has been getting headaches again he usually goes to the gym 3 or 4 times a week but hasn't been able to because of lock down

our little boy has been waking up a lot during the night as well so we are having very disturbed sleep and my husband usually get up as 5am for work

we are also having a stressful time due to moving and it taking ages

he has an eye test booked for this week incase he needs new glasses

his whole dads side of the family wear glasses all the time so it might be that

he also spends a lot of time with his head bent down looking at his phone

I suffer with severe health anxiety and I'm terrified f a brain tumor or something, am I being dramatic? or could all the above factors be contributing to these headaches

He most probably a) needs new glasses. B) needs to lift his head up instead of looking down on his phone c) needs a good work out to relieve stress and d) needs sleep and water.

Try not to worry or you might end up with a headache too. Wink

Are the headaches worse in the morning or laying down? Does it hurt especially when he sneezes or tip his head down?

Does he have any other symptoms such as dizziness, loss of balance, cognitive issues, sickness?

If so, he should definity make an appointment to the GP. Otherwise he might still want to discuss. Headaches can be due to stress and anxiety (tensing up without realising), eye issues, allergies.

Concerned not dramatic
Check his eye sight for a change in strength
Could be eye strain
Hydrating throughout the day
Sleep
Hayfever
Stress
My migraines/ headaches were frequent until I renewed my glasses.

Thank you all from your comment , he doesn't have any other symptoms but occasionally wakes up with one , forgot to add he also grinds his teeth and night!! Which is usually when he wakes up with one

Hoping nothing serious, I think we'll see how eye test goes and if eyes have got worse I would think that may be one of the causes

Teeth grinding is a well known cause of headaches. Get him to the dentist for a mouth guard.

My DH headaches lasted months and months. Blamed it on working from home and being on laptop and phone all the time. Turned out he has very high blood pressure and now he is on medication, he no longer has headaches so it's also worth checking his BP.

Thank you for this , I did mention this to my husband thst he may have high BP. Think he's going to call the doctors just incase

If he doesn't then can go to the pharmacy and get his BP done as well and I believe Boots are also offering free BP check. Its still worth going GP though for a check up.

I grind my teeth and get bad headaches as a result. I have to wear a mouthguard at night. I also have postural issues and I get severe headaches which are actually caused by my neck
