Multiple Angiolipomas

Hi.
I have multiple painful Angiolipomas all over my body
Rough estimate is probably 40 of them
, on my thighs, waist, back, arms...you get the picture.
They do run in my family on my Mum's side but luckily they only have one or two each.I think i've got everybody elses share 😃 .
Numerous visits to doctors over the years they told me to ignore them reassured me they are not cancerous, and so it goes on.That is until my present doctor took me seriously and referred me to the plastic surgeons. She is fab and so caring.I must say it has really affected me over the years, especially the ones on my arms.
So a year ago I had 2 removed ! The difference is so amazing and I feel brilliant now.
As you can imagine, having 40 to remove will be a big job but I don't care about the scars.
The problem is getting the referrals.
Generally it is considered a cosmetic procedure, but if rare and painful like these it is allowed.I just can't get anywhere with it at all.
I had my second op cancelled obviously due to coronavirus which is understandable.
I go back to my doctor and each time she refers me.
I tentatively mentioned it to the surgeon last time and he said no problem we will refer you in clinic each time.
2nd op went well again fantastic result.6 werks later I had a telephone cjeck up and he totally denied ever saying
Meanwhe I live evety day in painWheny husband touches me I wince in pain and if the cat jumps on my knee I almost launch him into space.
So sorry It's a long post.
Just wondering if anyone else has come across this.I'm even thinking of going privately but a bit worried how much it will cost .Thank you so much for reading this essay !! 😃
