Colpermin and Lansoprazole

I've been prescribed Lansoprazole and take one in a morning. I think I'm having an IBS flare up and was going to take a Colpermin. I can't find any actual information online as to whether they're ok to take together.

If your taking lansoprazol for reflux or hiatus hernia then colpermin or anything containing peppermint is not advised as it relaxes the valve at the top of the stomach and allows stomach acid to flow back. They won't medically effect one another so are safe in that respect but the peppermint will pretty much render the lansoprazol useless. You can take buscopan if that will help.
