Sorry in advance, but this is a decent place to get a range of opinions. I have name changed to post this.

My stomach has been bad for a while. Endoscopy etc recently and diagnosed with gerd, and given omeprozole. Main symptom was difficulty swallowing which the meds have fixed.

I am trying to eat healthy, have given up alcohol (since Sunday Smile) etc, but seem to almost always be running to the toilet.

Bluntly, what’s coming out looks like bile that comes up if you are still sick after emptying your stomach and sticks to the bowl after flushing (I did warn you)

I have felt ropey all day and eaten nothing until 5pm. Had tuna, cottage cheese, spinach and spring onion all mixed together. I eat this regularly.

Anyway, and everything I have read says this can’t happen, it literally went straight through me. Think green spinach floating in the bowl less than an hour after going into your mouth. I hadn’t eaten spinach for a couple of weeks previously.

Any ideas? Should I be worried?

Sorry

Symptoms sound like bile acid malabsorption, but I’m no medic, so not qualified to say. However, I think you should contact your GP and arrange a consultation, I do think it requires investigation.
