Weird period / pill symptoms

Have been taking Loestrin 20 for the last two years and during that time have had barely had an AF and when I have has been about two days into my 7 pill free days.

Recently decided to TTC no.3 so planned to stop pill after last pack which was last Friday.

However since last Wednesday with two pills to go have been having a strange brown discharge which then went more red for a while before going brown again (tmi - sorry)

Obviously run out of pills and focussing on TTC but wondered whether I should be worried about this discharge. Feel generally under the weather and have had some period type pains. Has anyone experinced anything like this. Just a bit confused. Any ideas???

Just sounds like a withdrrawl bleed- lots of people hav irreg bleeds or none at all with loestrin 20. If you still have a discharge once the bleeding as stopped go to doc/nurse and get a swab.

Any idea how long it'll take after coming off loestrin for things to get back to normal? Obviously keen to get to grips with ttc but not sure when I will start ovulating etc again.

sounds normal, could take a while to straighten out

things may settle right away or take a few months! Not very helpful - I know but there is no way of predicting.
