What could this be?

My Dh came out with these spots before the first lockdown, Dr then prescribed Dermovate, Cetroben & Elocon to put on them as they are very itchy.
They started to disappear and get better and it’s started again it’s been a couple of weeks & Dr has prescribed the same medication again.
They said it looks like something called Lichen Planus. It’s mainly on his legs, ankles, a little on the arms & stomach area.
Anyone think it could be anything different? How else can it be treated?

Is he otherwise fit and healthy?

Yes he feels well in himself. No other change other than the itching of these spots
