I just wondered if this sounded familiar to anybody in the world. It's my husband with the issue, we're at a loss and have had no answers so far with tests. So I'm hoping for news of others experiences! And thank you in advance. The problem is:
Constant pain in the lower left abdomen. Had blood tests (all reassuring), palpation (no pain when pressed). No change in bowel habits. No bleeding. Does not generally get worse when eating. Negative for coeliac. Suspected hernia, been for ultrasound: nothing. It's not a hernia. Now been told next step is CAT scan / colonoscopy.
The only symptom is a constant pain, nothing else. It's a dull pain, not sharp. But it never goes away. It's been like this since the beginning of the year. He says he is more aware of it when he bends over or lies on his left side and sometimes after eating a very big meal. But nothing in particular makes it worse, it's just always the same.
I've googled so much and just can't get anywhere. Do these symptoms sound familiar to anybody?
