Toothache and my teeth

I've nc for this because I am so so embarrassed.

I'm almost 60 and for my whole life I've hated my teeth and dentists, mainly due to a particular dentist in my childhood who told me fillings were my own fault 😢. He made me feel dirty.

My teeth are horrible, despite awful childhood braces. My visits to the dentist are somewhat sporadic and I do accept this hasn't helped.

I am facing the fact that one (at least ) on the bottom is going to have to come out and the thought of a gap horrifies me... more hideousness.

Does anyone have gaps and what have you got to disguise them.

Bridges if you gaps, crowns if you have part chipped tooth or want to cover an existing tooth after having root canal. Honestly, please go to a dentist. The treatment has changed a lot over the years. It's better to get things fixed early.
