I was assesed at a new MAT (Muculo skelatal asessment and treatment) clinc last week due to reoccuring crippling pains in my joints.

I have had a long history of dr's putting my symptoms down to Lupus although now the specialist says it is unlikley that i have it.
They are going to test me for it to get a once and for all result but he said if it comes back negative then the pains are due to severe hypermobility and i have to live with it because 'this is me'

I am now feeling crap if it comes back that i don't have LUpus then basicly im shagged! I have always had these pains after excersise and long walks ect even as a child.

They have worsened as i have got older and are now so severe i can't pysically walk when they get bad and it is triggered now after a gentle 5 minute stroll so i am getting them everyday.

I also get the same bad pains in my wrists that makes holding the kids a problem. Te pain is so bad it had me in tears and painkillers don't really help.

I just don't see hown this can be 'just me' and i also can't belive i have been told just to live with it!
