I've had to book an appointment tomorrow to have a wisdom tooth extracted. They've said it will be £80 for the extraction, plus £55 for a private consultation fee as my regular dentist (at the same surgery) is not available. I actually thought the extraction would be more, but is it right that I need to pay that consultation charge as well?
