Can anyone interpret thyroid results

Serum free T4 level 17pmol/L [7.9 - 14.4]

Serum TSH level 6.89 U/mL [0.38 - 5.33]

Serum free triiodothyronine level 7.5pmol/L [3.8 - 6.0]
I can see that they are all out range and have requested a dr call back to discuss but the earliest is at the beginning of December. I thought that if it was hypo thyroidism the t4 would be low, not high. I currently take 25 mg levothyroxine which I'm guessing needs increasing

I use an app called boost thyroid, you just put in all your blood test results and it tells you what they should be and whether it's high or low. It tracks all your results so you can see what direction it's all going in. It also gives you hints on how to look after yourself and they've done lots of thyroid based research x

My serum TSH was 7.6. That is apparently some kind of hormone which stimulates the thyroid. The higher it is the more under active your thyroid is. I think I understood that right.

I have been on tablets for mine for a month and am going to have my blood re-tested in December.

My serum free t4 is 13 which is normal according to my blood result printout. I can’t see the other result you have on my list x

Thank you 😊
